Introduced back in the early 90s, the Viper was an unmistakable performance car from Chrysler, with radical styling and a 640 hp all-aluminum V10 for neck-snapping acceleration. By ‘14, the Viper was in its fifth generation, with Base, GT and GTS trim levels. A ‘14 model Viper would have been equipped with Pirelli P Zero tires as OEM.
When you shop 2014 Dodge Viper tires, remember that the Viper is designed for a staggered fitment, with different size tires front and rear. To really get the most out of the handling and braking performance of a Viper, we’d suggest summer and ultra-high-performance tires like the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, Continental ExtremeContactSport and Kumho Ecsta V720 ACR. Just remember that summer and UHP tires use a softer, stickier tread formulation that delivers exceptional grip, but will stiffen and lose traction on colder days. Summer/UHP tires shouldn’t be used when daily temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
