Introduced back in the early 90s, the Viper was an unmistakable performance car from Chrysler, with radical styling and a 640 hp all-aluminum V10 for neck-snapping acceleration. By ‘10, the Viper was in its fifth generation, with Base, GT and GTS trim levels. A ‘10 model Viper would have been equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires as OEM.
When you shop 2010 Dodge Viper tires, remember that the Viper is designed for a staggered fitment, with different size tires front and rear. To really get the most out of the handling and braking performance of a Viper, we’d suggest summer and ultra-high-performance tires like the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 or Toyo Proxes R888R. Just remember that summer and UHP tires use a softer, stickier tread formulation that delivers exceptional grip, but will stiffen and lose traction on colder days. Summer/UHP tires shouldn’t be used when daily temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
