Tire Buying Guides
Dunlop was founded in Scotland way back in 1888 by John Boyd Dunlop, a Scottish veterinary surgeon and inventor who revolutionized the tire industry with the invention of the pneumatic tire. Dunlop has decades of experience in the motorsports world, which has gone on to inform their design process and innovations for automotive tires; today, as part of the Goodyear family, Dunlop can fully leverage their design expertise, manufacturing and distribution to continue their place as a world-class brand of premium tires.
With the Dunlop Signature tire family, Dunlop brings innovation and value to a lineup of performance-oriented all-season tires for sedans, minivans, SUVs, and crossovers. The Signature tire family is designed for year-round versatility along with capable handling, long tread life, solid road manners, and a quiet, refined ride. Let’s take a little closer look at what the Dunlop Signature tire lineup has to offer:
Dunlop Signature II
Sophisticated and advanced (and at a relatively affordable price), the Signature II from Dunlop is a great aftermarket all-season tire for a wide range of sedans, minivans, SUVs, and crossovers. The Signature II is designed with Dunlop’s VersaLoad technology package, which helps the tire keep its shape and integrity as it wears down, helping to ensure the same kind of ride quality, handling, and stability you’ve come to expect and making sure you’ll get the same kind of performance no matter what. Dunlop’s Evaqua Grooves are designed as part of a symmetrical all-season tread pattern, diverting water away from the tire’s contact patch for resistance to hydroplaning and solid traction on wet roads.
Multi-directional siping gives a driver the peace of mind that comes with consistent grip in wet or light wintry conditions. Internal construction details of the Dunlop Signature II include a dimensionally stable polyester cord body reinforced with two high-tensile steel belts and an advanced tread compound that’s optimized for year-round grip. Dunlop covers the Signature II with a 65,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.

Along with the Signature II, the Dunlop Signature tire family also includes:

Covered by a 75,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.
- Dunlop Signature CS: An all-season grand touring tire for light trucks and SUVs that incorporates Evaqua Grooves, VersaLoad Technology, Jointless Band design, and all-season tread with angled and circumferential grooves with full 11/32” initial tread depth.
