In my opinion Nitto are the best tires, I had appx 90,000 miles on my previous set. Simple Tire was great to deal with on my purchase.
A tire that looks great and performs? Immediately upon installation, my truck suddenly looked cool again and I was getting compliments everywhere I went. The aggressive sidewall patterns gave it a much needed facelift. I could immediately feel the increased road stability that these new G3s offered. It's almost as if I had upgraded my suspension, not just the tires. Whether the ever present potholes or the gravel roads, I could feel the bulk of the impact being absorbed by the tire vs. being sent through the entire cab. The grip that these new tires offered across all weather conditions has been exceptional and provided an extra level of confidence I had not had previously. Rain or snow, never once have I felt any slippage whether accelerating, braking or cornering. Even in blizzard like conditions I was able to keep the speed consistent and hold the wheel straight at all times. With better weather ahead, I can't wait to get my truck off road and test that out.
After 6,000 miles with these tires, I can confidently say they're the best all-around all-terrain option out there! They provide a smooth, quiet ride with outstanding handling on both wet and dry roads. They also perform exceptionally well in about 4 inches of snow, offering great traction and control. Plus, with a 3PMSF rating and a 55,000-mile warranty, they're tough to beat!
I have had my Terra Grappler G3's for a few months now, mostly City driving with a few trips to Mammoth in the snow and out in the desert. These are the some of the best tires I have had on any of my trucks to date. They are very quiet on the road for the city driving and handled incredibly well in the dirt and snow with the triple peak rating. The wear is consistent and even (10,000 miles) and love the choice of side wall tread pattern. I would highly recommend.
Honestly wish they made a little more noise. Overall, I love my Falkons but these might be my new choice of tire!
I have about 7000 miles on these tires. And this winter was a good test for them. Compared to other all-terrain tires these things are silent. I get more wind noise than tire noise on my 2014 Ram 1500 Longhorn. As a waterfowl hunter, I'm frequently towing and encountering slippery situations. I have had no issues on ice and also have had to back the truck down an icy boat ramp and get the truck up to the axles in soft slippery mud to pull a boat out at low tide and these tires just walked out like I was on dry pavement! They are also wearing like iron!!
I made the switch from Michelin X LT A/S's to the Terra Grapplers because of their aggressive look. After install I noticed that the tires ride better and are quieter than the Michelins. I feel like the grip is better too because my pervious tires would screech when I turned and these ones are silent at all times. Last week I was driving in heavy rain and I was cut off and had to slam on my brakes and these tires did not slide and managed to stop me from crashing. Overall, love these tires!
Having been on a competitor's H/T tire for the last two years, the first thing I immediately noticed upon installing the new Terra Grappler G3's on my Chevy Colorado was the overall aesthetic look. My truck suddenly looked cool again. The aggressive sidewall patterns gave it a much needed facelift that made it look like a truck that meant business again. The difference was so staggering that it almost gave the appearance of a lift as well. While looks aren't everything, I was surprised to feel the road stability that these new G3s offered. It's almost as if I had upgraded my shocks and spring systems, not just the tires. Gone were the days of bouncing over the ever present potholes that line the roads on the east coast and I could feel the bulk of the impact being absorbed by the tire vs. being sent through the entire cab. Perhaps most surprising was the grip that these new tires offered, in all weather conditions. My truck felt stuck to the road and it provided an extra level of confidence I had not had previously. With the winter weather setting in, I've experienced countless days of rain and snow. The days that it absolutely downpoured, you could hardly tell from the driver seat. The sipes were doing exactly what they were intended for and the tires maintained maximum grip levels. Never once did I feel any slippage whether accelerating, braking or cornering. As for the snow, it was much the same. Climbing the mountain passes of West Virginia, most of the vehicles were in the right lane with their flashers on, crawling along at 25mph. With the help of the G3s, I was able to keep the speed consistent and hold the wheel straight at all times. While I haven't had the opportunity to take my truck off road yet, the few times I've had to power through gravel roads or muddy lots, there has yet to be a single moment where I felt uncomfortable. The only downside I can think of thus far is the MPG, which is to be expected when upgrading from an H/T to an A/T. But I'll gladly trade off the decrease in MPGs for the more stable and comfortable ride that the G3s offer. And to look good on top of that is just the cherry on top.
Great tires if you live in Michigan
