  • If you’ve got a commercial fleet of service vans, route trucks, mini-buses, or pickup and delivery trucks, your light trucks need a tire that delivers dependable year-round service. That means traction, performance, enhanced load capacity, durability, and reliability for minimal downtime. A missed deadline or a missed delivery means lost money, and sometimes even a lost customer. Sometimes regular light truck tires just can’t quite get the job done.

The Maxxis UE-168 (N) Bravo Series is just the tire for these kinds of applications. It stands up to long hours on the highway or tough urban route work, with a premium rubber formulation for long wear and a tread pattern that’s designed for year-round performance.

So what makes the tire such a great performer when it comes to commercial tire applications? Don’t just take our word for it – let’s do a deeper dive with a quick Maxxis UE-168(N) Bravo Series review.

    Features and Benefits

Finding a tire that performs year-round for a light truck, service van, or other pickup and delivery truck is critical for many drivers. Fortunately, Maxxis knew this when they designed the UE-168(N) Bravo Series. Here’s what the tire has that allows it to perform at a high level:

    • Premium light commercial tire for urban or highway use
    • Durable, damage-resistant rubber formulation for long wear
    • Double steel-belted construction provides long wear, stability, improved load rating
    • Reinforced sidewall guards against curb scuffs
    • Rib-type tread with four zigzag grooves evacuates water to boost wet-weather traction and resist hydroplaning
    • Continuous shoulder ribs for good handling, long wear
    • Jointless spiral-wound nylon cap ply for improved ride quality, high-speed stability
    • Tread depth 14/32”

    Pros and Cons

Commercial tires have to be able to handle some pretty demanding day-to-day use. When it comes to the Maxxis UE-168 (N) Bravo, we honestly can’t think of many Cons to balance against the Pros:

    PROS:

    • Extremely durable for highway use
    • Decent ride quality, handling and noise levels
    • Enhanced load rating

    CONS:

    • Poor traction in heavy snow

Purchased for 1998 Rialta . A little scary on drive back from shop with the truck ruts throwing me around but after adding air to tires and adjusting air springs have not had any more issues . Nice smooth ride and no noticeable tread loss so far .

I put these on a 1997 Rialta motorhome. They have worked wonderfully so far. These are recommended by a lot of Rialta owners. I haven't had much time driving through rain. I did one morning, and they did ok. I took it easy just in case, but I didn't have any problems.

I replaced my aging Goodyear Cargo tires ( 10 yrs. ) on my 1999 Winnebago Rialta. I wanted to get 215/70R/15 tires since they will fit on the front and rear of my vehicle. The speed ratings are fantastic. These tire meet or exceed OEM. So far they have performed extremely well. I would recommend these tires for your Class B RV.

Great tires for my 1999 Winnebago Rialta. I've been looking for this size tire and Maxxis delivered. These tires can be used on the front or the back for those with a Rialta. Firestone took delivery for me and installed them for a reasonable price.

For what it is worth, I live in Southern California, so almost everything is dry and without snow, so I am out of my element evaluating these. I have just returned from a trip to the Sierras on a deer hunt, and the tires worked fine on rocky, gravelly dirt roads. The tires are mounted on a one-ton diesel flat bed dually with four wheel drive. So far the only thing that "might" be questionable is the tread wear - but I will have to wait and see (i.e. - too few miles to make a judgment call).
