I've put Blizzaks on 3 different cars over the years and have always been impressed. I mean, these things are top of the line in grippiness in snow and slush. I live in Flagstaff, Az. which is at 7,300ft altitude. We get 70 to 90ft of snow a year. 4 foot snowfalls are not uncommon. Every time I buy snow tires I do my research. Blizzaks seem to always be the best pick. You won't get high mileage from them due to the rubber used. But, Blizzak's softer rubber is what grips (along with this tire's excellent tread design!!). My priority is to maximize safe handling in winter conditions, with a smooth ride and low noise. I get about 3 winters out them by being careful to put them on in Oct and take them off in April. I've never once been disappointed with the Blizzak. BTW, I don't work for them nor was I paid in any way to give this review.

The original tread depth is 10/32. Worn out is 2/32. I am at 5/32 in 15,000 km of Canadian winter driving. My tire dealer says they wore out prematurely. Bridgestone says they should never be put on Subaru Forester. I have paid for two sets of expensive snowtires in one year. Not happy. Not good.
